Majestic Mountain Summit

This was a project for the ages! We were brought on to help our wonderful clients (based in Florida) turn this magnificent 10,000 sqft generational vacation property situated on 160 acres in Bragg Creek into a space that was sophisticated, layered, welcoming while also infusing the spirit of Alberta. We designed the entire space (along with the 3,000 sqft guest house) while working with our long-distance client. With the architecture of the home being so unique and beautiful, we wanted to ensure we were adding in elements to compliment in shape and form, along with ensuring that the main star (expansive views) was always being showcased. We also created a brand model and brand package for the property, as it would also be used as a luxury rental unit when the family is not enjoying the space.

I chose Louis because I loved his style - modern, clean, but also warm and a little edgy. I gave him some direction, and then I just got out of his way. Working with a designer of this caliber is like hiring an artist; I don’t think you should interfere too much. I showed him the space and let him create. He and his team made the process seem easy, and when the inevitable hiccups occurred, they presented me with solutions, not problems.
